The Pearl - Chincoteague: Exceptional Dining with Scenic Views

We went on a Tuesday night. Trivia started around 7:30. Great time!!! The food is cooked to order and the hush puppies and crab cakes are superb. One of the bartenders was our server. He was excellent and makes the best cherry lime Crush. The view is excellent. Definitely put this place on your list to visit if you haven't yet. Go Birds!!!!

Great food, great views, great staff. Paige was so friendly and gave great recommendations on places to see on the island. Stopped for breakfast and will definitely be back for dinner!

We ate here on Sat. May 12. We never got our coffee we ordered until we specifically asked for it again halfway thru the meal. My salad was served and they never brought my husband's until we asked where it was. The steamed shrimp was served in a bowl of water and my green beans were served with the stems on. By the time I cut all the stems off, they were cold. The onion rings were cold. The chicken with crabmeat was good. Not at all happy with the service or food.

Came here for drinks on Sat night, and it was the RIGHT call. This seems like where the locals go, as it's off the main drag. Lovely, lively crowd. DJ started about 9p, and the late night crowd rolled in not long after. Ruby, the bartender, did an EXCEPTIONAL job, especially considering it was her first night behind that bar, and she was on her own. She was juggling a lot but kept cool & composed. Our drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was just a really fun, local place. Would recommend!!

Beautiful location, the server gave us binoculars to spy the ponies across the water and light house. We went for lunch and yes it was one person and she was wonderful, attentive and did extra things such as offering our drink refills to go. Extensive menu. One of the best hush puppies I’ve had - they are huge, too. Fried green tomatoes were tasty. The view is amazing. Will be back.

Food on the buffet is not as advertised. Items were missing. Children are not worth the $9.99 for a 3 year old. The first waitress was not really worth anything. Her replacement was great. They don't tell you that there is a mandatory 20% tip applied by the computer cash register.

My boyfriend and I had a truly amazing experience at the pearl during our vacation this week! The food was phenomenal. The service was amazing! We will absolutely be back again! This is the place to go for dinner if you’re visiting the area

Plastic cups for margarita's and beer, first two choices of beer were out of stock. Cheap black napkins, crab cakes not tasty at all. Green beans, day old or overcooked and dry. Server not helpful at all. Not even offered dessert. Five star prices at a three star restaurant. Will not be back. Beautiful bay front is all they offer.
